Movie Version Krauser

So, if there ever was a chance that Jack Krauser got to appear in one of the Resident Evil movies, who on earth would play him?
Just for fun, I thought it would be interesting to put together this selection of actors who I think could fill the role quite nicely.

DOLPH LUNDGREN

Dolph would be my number one choice to play Krauser although the age factor might be a bit of a problem now. But in his hey-day, Dolph would have been perfect as proved by his roles in Rocky IV, Universal Soldier and Masters Of The Universe.
He's got the perfectly toned body and the blonde locks, not to mention a great looking face which would have certainly done Krauser justice.

STEVE CRYEN

Okay, moving straight into second place, maybe even tied first is Steve Cryen who is an actor I only just recently discovered in Doomed! The man would be PERFECT to play Krauser, he has the body and he definitely has the persona down (half an hour into the movie he paints his face and starts killing zombies with his knife - how freaking awesome is that?).
Anyway all the guy needs is a bleach job and a scar and OMFG.....it's Krauser!!!

STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN

Okay so I know I haven't given the wrestlers an easy time when they have been submitted to me as possible Krausers but this is one I really think could work.
First of all I never really paid that much attention to this guy until I saw the movie "The Condemned" and then BOOM!!! OMG!!! It's Krauser!!
Seriously!! This man could pull it off no problem at all! He's got the body, he's got the attitude - just give him some hair and a scar and he'll have to fight me off!

KEVIN NASH

Kevin may not be instantly recognizable as Krauser but you may remember him from The Punisher where he played the Russian that almost kicked Tom Jane's ass.
He is infact a professional wrestler and has the physical attributes to play Krauser and with his short blonde locks (as opposed to how he used to wear his hair) he certainly could carry off the look.

KANE

Yeah I know, not exactly a subtle choice but I think it could work although no offense to Kane fans but Krauser is a LOT prettier!
Obviously the guy could get the body down and already has that perpetual snarl going on.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER

Okay, I know what you're thinking. I've totally lost it to include Arnie in here. However, old school Arnie (think back to Commando) could definitely work.
He's already got the body and I'm sure with a fake scar he could definitely carry the look off. One problem, he would most certainly have to be dubbed!

CHIP HAZZARD

Last but by no means least, we have Chip Hazzard!! Oh yes!! Don't tell me that you have ever watched Small Soldiers and NOT thought of Krauser everytime Chip came on!!
Okay, just me then ;)

JOHN CENA

This suggestion was made to me although of course you have to use your imagination a bit here and picture him with blonde hair and a scar.
The knife he holds is pretty similar to Krauser's knife too and after seeing the movie I do have agree that this could work.
EDIT: Okay, I'm totally sold!! I bought the movie for myself and I have to say that I would more than likely move John Cena into 3rd place!!

BROCK LESNAR

Yep, another wrestler that was suggested to me. Now I have to be honest here and say that although the body works and given a scar yes he probably could pass as a thug Krauser.....
BUT...I'm just not getting the right vibe here. Not sure what it is but this guy isn't quite doing it for me.

SEAN O'HAIRE

So why is it that only the wrestler/fighter types are suggested? Anyway, this guy was submitted to me recently and even if he did dye his hair blonde, shave and get scarred up - I'm just not seeing it at all.

DANIEL CRAIG

Wow!! A non-wrestler suggestion. Now first of all I have to say that I am a HUGE Daniel Craig fan, however, he just couldn't do Krauser justice.
Yep he has the blonde hair and blue eyes but although he is fit he just doesn't have the right body frame so therefore even if he trained for months he could never achieve that mega-buffed look.
An interesting choice though ;)

GOTZ OTTO

Now I have to admit that despite being a huge James Bond fan (I just didn't particularly like the Pierce Brosnan era) I had no idea who this guy was when the idea was submitted to me. Can I just say that when I looked him up I practically fell off my chair!!! O_O
I have to say that this is the first decent suggestion I have had!! Look at him!! The guy IS Krauser!!! Not to mention he also happens to be 6' 6" *hyperventilates*
Someone give the man a scar and a beret and I swear I'll have his babies!

TOM BERENGER

This one was submitted to me by a rather surprised fan who was quite shocked to see he wasn't on my original list. There's actually a very good reason for that - I don't see it! Yes I realise he has the ready made scar but a scar alone (or even camouflage pants) does not make a good Krauser. I mean sure if you gave him blonde hair and corrected the scar then of course he could pass as a Krauser cosplayer but for me he just doesn't cut it.

DAVID BATISTA

Yep, yet another wrestler submission!! *bangs head against desk* I think people only submit these wrestlers because of their bodies and so called "attitude" but trust me when that does not necessarily mean they would make a good Krauser. In all honestly Batista wouldn't do it for me - just wrong in so many ways.
