Costume

When we first see Krauser he's wearing a typical soldier's uniform. It consists of a black body armour top, desert camouflage cargo pants, black combat boots, black kneepads and black fingerless gloves. In addition to this Krauser also wears a military utility harness (which has various pouches on either side for carrying items such as bullets) and a standard webbed military belt (which also has more pouches) which holds his knife sheath which he wears on the back. The outfit is completed with his dark red beret which has an insignia patch on it.

Next time we see Krauser he is topless underneath his utility harness due to the fact he obviously didn't have a spare shirt after Leon sliced it with his knife (I'm guessing he figured that cutting Krauser's face wasn't really going to piss him off that much). He is also sporting red military face paint across his face and although this is usually used for camouflage purposes, Krauser's reasons for wearing it would be similiar to the Native Americans before going into battle.

In the final confrontation with Krauser, he has lost the utililty harness altogether leaving him completely topless (who's complaining?) and his red beret is gone (unless of course you had already shot it off during the gameplay you naughty scamp ;).
