Packaging, Shipping & Insurance

I use brand new packaging for every order and every item is individually bagged and in most cases will arrive in jewellery boxes (this will be noted in the item description). If you have ordered an especially large item I am unable to gift box it but it will be packaged securely and placed in a plastic gift bag (usually with a business card).  You can of course buy gift boxes in the “Sundries” section of the shop.

Please note that I DO include a copy of the order in each package, you will need to contact me when you checkout if you are sending your order as a gift straight to the recipient and don’t wish them to have a copy of the receipt although I can assure you that the receipt doesn’t disclose any prices.

I use Second Class Signed For or Tracked 48 with signature, for all UK orders and Registered Airmail for international.
All orders are sent via Royal Mail and I always obtain a tracking number for each order.
Unfortunately when I send you the automatic “completed order” email, it doesn’t give me an option to add your tracking number, however, please feel free to email me if you do require it.

International buyers please note that you are responsible for any customs fees and import taxes.

MISSING PACKAGES

I do believe that your package is my responsibility until it has arrived safely in your hands and you are happy with it. However, sometimes packages do like to take the longer, scenic route or even just disappear into oblivion. This isn’t any fault of my own or how I conduct my business but I always rectify the problem when this occurs. This is a personal guarantee I make as a seller (regardless of the outcome of any claim I make).

PLEASE NOTE, due to the Royal Mail’s strict guidelines, international buyers will have to wait 28 working days (this doesn’t include weekends) before a package is officially declared lost and only then can I offer you either a FULL refund or a replacement sent.

For UK buyers, you will need to wait 14 working days (not including weekends) before I can prepare a claim and offer you either a full refund or replacement.
